Expertise

Dr. Fedenczuk specializes in stochastic and deterministic modeling, simulation, optimization, and information visualization.  He is an expert in intelligent computer applications, spatial computer data structures, algorithms for testing the spatial connectivity, and graphics.  Additional areas of his expertise include data warehousing, analytics, data mining, geostatistics, scientific visualization of multidimensional data sets, and dimension reduction techniques.

Experience

Dr. Fedenczuk has been developing new ways to improve decision support systems in the petroleum, petrochemical, gas transmission, communication, telecommunication, environment, and insurance industries in Canada and USA. His career includes nine years with Canadian Hunter Exploration and with Gambit Consulting since 1991 in variety of IS, engineering, geological, and analytical roles.

Kristina Hoffmann

Expertise

Ms. Hoffmann has extensive training in Physics, Analytical Chemistry, and Crystallography.

She is a recognized expert in reservoir characterization based on rock properties. In particular

  • Evaluation and interpretation of core analysis data
  • Design and coordination of special core tests
  • Design of drilling fluids and evaluation of their properties
  • Design of EOR systems
  • Analysis of field performance during EOR
  • Compatibility studies for fields during EOR
  • Quality control of laboratory procedures
  • Evaluation of formation damage
  • Design of environmental sampling
  • Data evaluation

Experience

Ms. Hoffmann’s career includes eight years with Canadian Hunter as Core Analysis Coordinator and nine years in consulting roles for an array of petroleum companies. She has been with Gambit Consulting since 1991. Her work includes studies of oil and gas fields in Canada, USA, South America, Africa, and Europe.
